A Great OTA DVR!
Excellent HD DVR for the price. Waiting for a multi channel DVR. Redesign remote and function button are too small & close. Love this TERK DVR though, great job!
A Great OTA DVR!
For the price this is a great tuner and DVR. I like being able to record my favorite shows since I cut the cord with cable. This is a great device. My only suggestion would be that the buttons used to operate the DVR for instance, Play,Fast Forward, Rewind, etc, be spaced apart more, and larger.
Works as advertised. Easy to setup and Use. Picture quality is good. For the price it would be hard to beat.
Used with over the air antenna. This product's tuner is far superior to my 55 inch Samsung Smart television's tuner. I liked it so much that I purchased a second one for a Sanyo TV in the bedroom. Also the Terk is clearer. Another great feature is ability to add channels scan with a rotor.
Great little system
The unit is really easy to set up, and the quality of the picture and recordings over HDMI is excellent. The remote is a little hard to use, and takes some use to get familiar with navigation. Also, the system seems to continually hammer my USB drive, even when it's not recording.
Decent PVR but needs some ergonomic engineering
So far this device has performed within expectations - it's small, easy to set up, has composite connections (rare these days) and has some features that are appealing. The remote is a pain: far too small for large clumsy thumbs, button placement much too crowded and the labels are tiny. Needs work.
